Item Master Data Settings Get Smarter

Managing inventory is complicated and is based on … your items. Having the item master data set correctly is a key for efficient inventory management. SAP Business One enhances the process of adding new items, warehouses, unit of measure groups and package definitions, be providing you the following options:

If you select the option “Auto. Add All Warehouses to New and Existing Items”, every time you create a new item all the available warehouses will added to it automatically, and will be listed in the “Inventory Data” tab. In addition, when defining a new warehouse, it will automatically be added to all existing items. Same behavior applies when selecting the respective options related to unit of measures and package definitions.
